Much of the music throughout the 1970s was joyous and celebratory – none more so than disco and dance music of the era. With some pubs re-opening last week and the lockdown set to ease a little as we move towards the summer months (hopefully!), this weeks ‘Studio 70s’ is a reflection on what we have all missed most and a celebration of what we are now looking forward to. Meeting up with family and friends; getting out again to listen to music and dancing ourselves happy; engaging with people and enjoying life with hope in our hearts – all the things that help make us human.
Monday 19 April from 1pm to 2pm listen to ‘Studio 70s with Russ’ featuring Diana Ross, The Detroit Spinners, Barry White, The Jacksons, Average White Band and Billy Paul amongst others – bringing a smile back to your ears!
