This Sunday (March 14th), Lyme Bay Radio launches a brand new show presented by the fantastic Neil Charleton (Finally Friday and Lyme Bay Lives)

Each week on Soul Kitchen, Neil will have the pleasure of getting a truly behind the scenes experience with some of our amazing local chefs and food producers while they share their tips and tricks of the kitchen with us.

Kicking off our first episodes is local legend, Mark Hix. Come and listen in as Mark invites Soul Kitchen into his home to watch and learn just how he does what he does.

In our first show, Mark will be preparing Red Mullet in pickled walnuts and hot smoked Mackerel filets with horseradish on sourdough. Find out how to tell how fresh your fish is, the benefits of using sea salt in cooking and what the two most dangerous implements in the kitchen are. Oh and find out what Mark’s favourite cute looking fish is.
